PART 1
SWIMMING
ANSWERS
Whatโs the difference between swimming in the pool and swimming in the sea?
(Answer 1)
Based on my observation, I can swim or float more easily in the sea than in the pool, obviously, because seawater is denser than the water in the pool. Also, swimming in the sea is more liberating (making you feel free) than swimming in the pool since it is wider and unrestricted (not limited).
(Answer 2)
I believe swimming in the sea is more fun than swimming in the pool because itโs not restricted compared to swimming pools, where the depth (deepness) is only limited to six or seven feet. Besides, swimming in the sea is more healing (therapeutic) since seawater can remove toxins from oneโs body.
Where do people in your country like to go swimming?
(Answer 1)
Obviously, in the sea! Weโre blessed to have plenty of beaches where we can spend time relaxing and swimming. Swimming in the swimming pool is not popular in this tropical country as we prefer swimming in our beautiful beaches.
(Answer 2)
Well, in the swimming pools since, unfortunately, we donโt have great beaches in this country. Whenever we want to hold a party during summer, we often have it at a swimming pool. I wish we had plenty of white-sand beaches here like that of Thailand or the Philippine beaches.
Is it difficult to learn how to swim?
(Answer 1)
I think it is if one learns to swim later in life and if one has a traumatic experience with water since itโll take so much courage, time, and effort to make him learn to swim confidently. However, if one starts learning at a young age, I think that wonโt be hard because naturally, children love water.
(Answer 2)
I believe not, as long as one has a very good swimming instructor. A very good swimming instructor can guide his students well and teach them the right breathing techniques when swimming, therefore, learning how to swim wonโt be difficult, at all. I speak from experience (to talk about oneโs personal experience).
Do you like swimming?
(Answer 1)
Yes, I love swimming! Swimming is the only exercise that I wonโt get tired of doing (not to feel tired of doing). Every weekend, I make sure to swim either in the swimming pool or at the beach to relieve stress and to keep myself fit.
(Answer 2)
Yes, I do but sadly I donโt swim like a fish (to swim very capably). Although I learned how to swim, I havenโt developed my swimming skills well. I wish I spent more time learning how to swim when I was still a student because I donโt have any spare time these days. Iโve been so busy since I started working.
