MEETING PLACES
ย
ย
ย
Where is your favorite place to meet with your friends?
ย
(Answer 1)ย
ย
Well, I donโt think we have one particular place where we love hanging out (spending time socializing). We can meet anywhere else and have fun. It may be at a restaurant, a bar, a park, or even an amusement park. I believe we care more about our bonding than the meeting place (a place where people meet).ย
ย
(Answer 2)
ย
Without a doubt, any Italian restaurant. My friends and I love Italian cuisine so from time to time we visit that kind of restaurant and devour our favorite dishes while catching up (updating each otherโs lives after not seeing for some time). Actually, we normally see each other at least twice a month since most of us are kind of busy with our personal and professional lives.ย
ย
Do you think there are some places more suitable for meeting with others?
ย
(Answer 1)ย
ย
Of course and that really depends on the type of event. If itโs something formal, especially if it has something to do with business, then a formal restaurant or a function room in a hotel would be best. However, if itโs not, I think any type of restaurant or cafe will do, most especially, if one is just meeting up with his closest friends.
(Answer 2)
ย
Yes, definitely! Most of the time a restaurant, a cafe, a function room in a hotel, and even a park are the common places that I can say are suitable to meet with other people. However, one must know the right place to choose from depending on the type of person he has to meet. Of course, he canโt meet up with a business person at a park nearby (close by) because that will be inappropriate.ย
ย
ย
Are there any differences between your favorite meeting places in the present and in the past?
ย
(Answer 1)
ย
As I said earlier, we donโt have any favorite meeting place as weโre fine meeting up in any place as long as itโs safe and clean. So, I donโt think I can answer that question, except that I can say that our meeting places vary a lot depending on accessibility (nearness) and our mood.ย
ย
(Answer 2)
ย
Like I said earlier, my friends and I usually meet up at an Italian restaurant so I donโt think thereโs any difference. But of course, we donโt go to only one Italian restaurant all the time whenever we decide to meet because thatโs pretty boring. There are so many good Italian restaurants in this city that we can choose from.ย
ย
ย
Why are some meeting places better than others?
ย
(Answer 1)
ย
Well, I think thatโs simply because of the ambiance. Some meeting places are homey (pleasantly comfortable and cozy) which lightens the mood of the visitors. Most of the time, people want a place where they can relax after a very long day or after working on a stressful project. So, these things are whatโs on the mind of the owners that they want their visitors to forget about their work or any problem they have at work or at home.ย
ย
(Answer 2)ย
ย
Hmmm, I think thatโs because of the place itself. I mean, the place is so welcoming to visitors. Not only that, the food and drinks are exceptional, and the customer service is beyond compare (incomparable). People love going to these types of places every now and again because they want the experience of the place which others canโt provide.ย
