PART 1
MIRRORS

Do you like looking at yourself in the mirror?
(Answer 1)
Yes, who doesn’t like looking at oneself in a mirror? I think all of us love doing that. Well, I look at myself in a mirror before I leave home because I wanna make sure that I look pleasant. Also, I spend time looking at myself in a mirror before I hit the sack (go to bed) because I need to apply some beauty products to my face.
(Answer 2)
Well, I look at myself in the mirror but I’m not obsessed (fill the mind with something) with myself. I just check my appearance and see if I look good in the clothes that I wear. I think we all do that! We want to know if we’re presentable (pleasing to one’s eyes) enough before meeting people.
Have you ever bought mirrors?
(Answer 1)
I think I haven’t. I don’t remember a time that I buy one because it’s usually my mom who buys things for our house – from groceries to furniture. Well, next month I’ll move in (to go to a different place and begin to live) to my condominium so that’s the time that I’ll buy a mirror by myself.
(Answer 2)
Yes! I’ve bought different kinds of mirrors. I bought a car blind spot mirror for my car, a freestanding full-length mirror in my room, and a compact mirror (a small mirror that can be kept in a pocket). Actually, the most expensive mirror that I bought is the one that I use in my room. It costs me $100.
Do you usually take a mirror with you?
(Answer 1)
Not at all because I don’t have the need to do so. If I’m not at home and I need to check how I look, I just need to go to the bathroom in our office. But honestly, I’m not vain that I have to check my appearance from time to time.
(Answer 2)
No, I don’t because there are so many mirrors that we can use in public spaces if we want to check our appearance. There are so many toilets with huge mirrors that we can use from time to time. But if I’m in a place where I can’t access those public spaces, I just use the camera of my phone to check my face and that’s pretty convenient.
Would you use mirrors to decorate your room?
(Answer 1)
Well, I’ve never thought about that but I think it’ll be interesting if I decorate my room with mirrors. I guess my room will look more spacious (to have more or wide spaces) and elegant if I install mirrors in the corners or some parts of my room. I think I’ll give it a shot (to try something).
(Answer 2)
Well, I’ve already decorated my room with mirrors and I couldn’t be happier (to be very happy). My room looks more spacious and elegant. But what I like about having mirrors in my room is that I can always see myself. Those mirrors remind me to be conscious about my weight.
