PART 1
CHILDHOOD MEMORY
ANSWERS
What did you enjoy doing as a child?
(Answer 1)
I enjoyed going outside and playing all day long with my friends. I was the happiest when I was a kid because I didn’t have to worry about life. All I thought of was spending time with my friends and eating sweets. I miss those days honestly.
(Answer 2)
Aside from playing with my friends, I also enjoyed going shopping, eating at a restaurant, and watching movies at the cinema with my parents. They took me to the city at least once a month so I could see what city life was like at that time, and I treasure (value) it the most, especially since I don’t live with them anymore.
Did you enjoy your childhood?
(Answer 1)
Definitely! If only I could turn back time, I would. Life as an adult is too challenging for me. I have to work as much as I have to so I can pay my monthly bills and buy the things that I need and want. When I was a child, I didn’t have to worry about anything, at all (in any way).
(Answer 2)
Yes, absolutely! When I was a kid, I made a lot of friends in our village and almost every day we played until dusk. My childhood was full of life and joviality (cheerfulness), and that’s something I miss so much.
What are your best childhood memories?
(Answer 1)
I think I had a lot of amazing childhood memories, but if I had to pick one, I think it would be learning how to swim in the river with my cousins. My older cousins taught me how to swim without my parents’ knowledge. I was so eager to learn and when I learned how to float on the water, I was inexplicably (unable to be explained) overjoyed.
(Answer 2)
Of course, spending time with my friends playing and when my parents took me to the city every month. I created lovely memories with my childhood friends and my parents and I was so grateful for that. If I become a parent, I will surely make my child experience what I did experience when I was little.
Do you think it’s better for children to grow up in the countryside or in the city?
(Answer 1)
I think both have pros and cons, I mean, both places can either be good or not. That really depends on the parents’ priority. If parents want their children to have a peaceful environment, then they have to raise their children in the countryside. However, if they want their children to be more confident about life, then, raising them in the city is a good choice. That’s just my two cents (my opinion), anyway.
(Answer 2)
I’m biased on this since I was raised in the countryside. I think raising a child in the countryside is preferable because the environment is peaceful. Children can forge valuable friendships with other children, and they can experience a simple yet high-quality living since the countryside has minimal pollution. Not to mention (to add extra information which emphasizes the point you’re making), it’s way safer than the city.
