PART 1
TALENTS
Do you have any talent?
(Answer 1)
Yes, I do! Every one of us has a special talent and that’s a fact. As for me, I’m good at dancing and painting. So, whenever I feel unhealthy, I just go to a dance studio nearby and dance. Also, if I’m so inspired, I just pick up (take hold of and lift) my art materials and start painting or sketching.
(Answer 2)
Well, yes! I don’t want to sound like blowing my own horn ( to talk about oneself or one’s achievements, especially in a way that shows pride or too much pride ) but I’m really good at cooking. I can cook Mediterranean and Asian cuisines (dishes) very well. I was able to develop this talent when I was a teen because my mom worked in many different kinds of restaurants and she taught me how to cook. Actually, I’m planning to make use of (utilize) this talent fully by building my own restaurant.
Do you think your talent can be useful for your future work?
(Answer 1)
I’m not sure if my talent can be useful for my work in the future since I’m in the medical field. But it’s fine because I can make use of this talent of mine in a different way. Like I said earlier if I feel less active or depressed, I can do dancing or painting. Well, perhaps I can make use of my talent in dancing to entertain my patients.
(Answer 2)
Well, this talent of mine doesn’t have relevance to my current work but in the future when I can start my own restaurant business, then for sure my talent will be very useful and will surely help me improve my life significantly. Honestly, I can’t wait for that to happen in my life so that’s why I’m saving up as much as I can these days so I can build my own restaurant in five years’ time (five years later).
What is one thing you mastered recently or when you were young?
(Answer 1)
That’s interesting! Well, I think I have mastered the art of not caring what other people think of me because life is short to live being too concerned about other people’s opinions. In the past, I cared so much about people’s opinions, however, after I read one of Mark Manson’s books, that’s when I realized to live with my own rules and not other people’s rules.
(Answer 2)
I don’t think I have already mastered this but I’m in the process of mastering solving Rubik’s cube in such a short period of time. I have learned several techniques and I’m getting the hang of it (to learn the skills that are needed to do something). Honestly, I’m inspired by the videos of skillful children who can solve it in less than a minute. I watched them on Youtube and I aspire (direct one’s hopes towards achieving something) to be like them.
Do you think anyone in your family has the same talent as you?
(Answer 1)
All of us are talented in the family but our talents are completely different. My dad is really good at numbers while my mom is good at writing. My older brother is very talented in sports and my sister is a good singer and as I said earlier I’m into painting and dancing. Our respective (individual) talents are completely varied (diverse).
